Where It All Began
ValienteTheArtist was born into a family deeply rooted in music. Her paternal grandfather was a gifted Puerto Rican guitarist, while her father was a live performer, songwriter, vocalist, and bandleader. Surrounded by music from an early age, ValienteTheArtist naturally followed in their footsteps, developing a deep passion for music and performance.
What began as singing in church, in the car, and from the comfort of her own room soon evolved into a serious artistic pursuit. Recognizing her natural talent, her parents encouraged her growth by enrolling her in schools with a strong emphasis on music education. Beginning at age 12 and continuing to the present, ValienteTheArtist has studied Vocal Performance, Live Performance, Choral Singing, Music Theory, Music Production, and Audio Engineering.
Today, she draws upon this diverse musical foundation to create and produce her own work. As a multifaceted independent artist, ValienteTheArtist writes, sings, raps, produces, and engineers her own music—bringing together her performance experience, technical knowledge, and lifelong connection to music to create a sound that is uniquely her own.
